Meinhardt Nepal provides the full spectrum of project management and engineering services.

Meinhardt opened its Nepal office in Kathmandu in November 2018. The office in Kathmandu provides multidisciplinary engineering and architectural design services. Meinhardt Nepal offers complete turnkey solutions from architectural design, engineering solutions to construction supervision services and project management services under one roof. In a short span of time, Meinhardt Nepal has been successful in setting up a localized technical team that interacts with other Meinhardt offices across the globe to provide cutting edge design and engineering solutions to clients in Nepal.

As Nepal enters a period of political stability after successfully ending an armed conflict by promulgating a new constitution through elections, the country has witnessed a surge in infrastructure spending. Nepal has a sizeable population and is poised to play an important role in shaping the growth of South Asia in the coming years. We in Meinhardt Nepal believe that we can provide cutting edge design and engineering solutions to help prepare Nepal for the challenges it may face in its path to development.

We believe that Meinhardt Nepal can play a critical part in Nepal’s development story and that is precisely why we have a dedicated technical team based out of Nepal. With a population of 29.3 million, Nepal is spread across 147,181 km² of picturesque mountains and valleys. Located in South Asia, Nepal is situated in between India and China, and neighbours Bhutan and Tibet. Sporadic development in Nepal, influenced by its unique geography, had led to gaps in electricity, water and communications infrastructure.

Nepal is a young nation, with an average age of 21.6 years and 20% of its population living in urba n areas. Nepal also has the fastest urbanizing indicators with an average growth rate of 5% percent.

Considering such parameters, we believe there is massive potential for Nepal to improve urbanization in most of the country’s regions. Meinhardt is well-placed to impart critical technical know-hows to play a part in shaping Nepal’s landscape and opened its first office in Kathmandu, Nepal’s capital, in 2018.
