The 22.6km line with 18 stations, when completed, will be the first elevated and driver-less LRT system in Kazakhstan that links Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport to the heart of the city.

Meinhardt provided consultancy services in relation to the review of the system’s design for signalling and communications, power and traction, and rolling stock. We have also provided recommendations for improvements to the system designs based on global best practices for reliability, availability, maintainability and safety.
