Bangalore is the Capital city of Karnataka State, a Metropolitan city thriving with development activities and known as ‘Silicon Valley of India’. The project is implemented under Cauvery Water Supply Scheme (CWSS) Stage–IV, Phase – II programme and would serve 2.7 million population by year 2021.

In Phase 1, Meinhardt provided Project Management Consultancy services for laying of water distribution network in Bangalore Municipal Area. The supervision covers more than 1800 km of water pipelines above 400 mm diameter and about 115 km of feeder mains having diameter more than 600 mm, covering 95% of city area upon commissioning. The task also includes supervision for 1.2 Lakhs house connections.

In Phase 2, Meinhardt provided Project Management Consultancy services for laying of water distribution network in Bangalore Municipal Area. The supervision covers more than 1200 km of water pipelines up to 450 mm diameter, and network of GSR / ESR thus improving coverage of water supply to 95% of city area upon commissioning.
